Day 1 : Hanoi Arrival
You will be greeted at the Airport and transferred downtown to check into your hotel. Free time to explore a little of downtown and enjoy a stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake. Overnight in Ha Noi.
Day 2: Hanoi city tour (B/L)
On this insightful day through Ha Noi is busy tree lined boulevards, you will explore such interesting and historic sites as The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum, One pillar pagoda and Temple of Literature. This amazing 2 hour walking tour of the historic 36 street Old Quarter is both a shopper and photographer delight as the streets are alive with shops and vendors making and selling everything imaginable.
Day 3: Hanoi - Ha Long (L)
Depart Ha Noi at 8.00am and drive by private coach to Ha Long city (2.5 hr) passing verdant farmland and witness the daily life of the local peasant farmers. Arrive in Ha Long at noon, board your boat and enjoy lunch including fresh seafood as you embark on a 4 hr cruise into the Bay. You will stop to explore one of the many expansive grottoes here then continue cruising to a quiet firth, enjoy a great sunset dinner, relax under the starlit sky. Overnight on the boat.
Day 4: Ha Long – Hanoi (B/L)
After breakfast you will transfer back to Halong city. Continue your cruise around the bay, passing Cua Van floating village to witness this unique way of life. By noon arrive at the pier in Ha Long city where you will enjoy a lunch of Vietnamese food in a restaurant. Bus back to Ha Noi, arrive at 16.30pm.
Day 5:
OPT 1: Hoa Lu – Tam Coc (B/L)
AM: Breakfast at your hotel. Depart at your hotel at 07:30 for Ninh Binh. Arrive in Ninh Binh at 09:00. Visit Hoa Lu – the ancient capital of Vietnam, includes King Dinh’s temple and Truong Yen valley. Transfer to Tam Coc, stop for lunch.
PM: Take sampans on the Boi river to visit Tam Coc – 3 wonderful limestone caves, exampled as “Halong on land”. Back to the ferry at 16:00 to get on bus to come back Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi at 18:00, drop you off at your hotel.
OPT 2: Perfume pagoda (B/L)
AM: Leave your hotel at 07.45 for Perfume pagoda. Arrive there after 2 hour bus trip through Vietnamese villages. Take a walk to Yen wharf then get on the boat to visit Trinh Temple. You will have a short trek to climb up the main cave on the top of moutain (at 2.5km height). Stop for lunch at the restaurant.
PM: Visit Thien Tru pagoda for worshiping and breaking. Boat trip back to the Yen wharf. Return to Ha Noi. Drop you off at your hotel at 18:00.
Day 6: Hanoi departure (B)
Free time in Hanoi for visting and shopping until airport drop off for your flight back. Tour ends.
